Sustainability & Energy Committee

Sustainability Committee leads AmCham Türkiye’s efforts to advance responsible business conduct across the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) spectrum. Guided by the principles of sustainable development, the Committee supports the integration of ethical, social, and environmental considerations into daily business operations — with the goal of creating long-term value for all stakeholders.

Given that sustainability cuts across multiple sectors, the Committee actively collaborates with other AmCham Türkiye committees to conduct joint projects, events, and advocacy work. In addition to regular meetings aligned with advocacy priorities, at least two guest or theme focused events are organized annually.

The Committee also guides advocacy and public consultations related to environmental policy, energy transition, and climate resilience.

• Thematic sessions to share global and local best practices

Sustainability Committee plays a central role in enabling member companies to anticipate and respond to environmental challenges while aligning with Türkiye’s green transition and global sustainability standards.
