Güneş began his professional career in Pannell Kerr Forster in 1994 and joined Deloitte in 1995. He continued his professional career in Schlumberger Oilfield Australia and returned to Deloitte Turkey in 2005.
He is specialized in M&A, and International Tax Structuring & Due Diligence projects combining his knowledge and experience in Commercial and Technical environment. He is currently leading the International Expansion Services for Turkish clients that has outbound investment plans. He has been a qualified accountant in Turkey (SMMM) since 1999.
He graduated from Bilkent University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 2000, he moved to Australia and undertook a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Taxation) in which he graduated with Distinction in 2002.
