Didem Sekerel Erdogan is the General Manager for NielsenIQ Türkiye over the last 9+ years leading NielsenIQ teams for Türkiye business with laser focus to delight clients with insights and foresights and helping clients to grow their business. In addition to Türkiye GM role she is supporting also EEMEAI region for ecommerce business transformation and growth.
Didem is Board member in in GPD (Gıda Perakendecileri Derneği / Food Retailers Association) together with retailer CEO’s, she is Board member in AmCham Türkiye (American Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye), is a Board member in LEAD Network, a member of Sales Network of Türkiye.
Didem has 28+ years of extensive FMCG local and international strategic and operational marketing experience including 4+ years of expat position for one of the top FMCG companies based in Vienna as being responsible for Central Eastern Europe region covering 32 countries. Over the last 13+ years Didem is covering several extended leadership responsibilities in NielsenIQ covering product consultancy and regional responsibilities such as Asia Pasific, China, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa for Intelligent Analytics, she was also leading Retailer Services across Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa and Russia.
Didem Erdogan is an expert in leading big data advanced analytics with predictive, prescriptive intelligence using artificial intelligence for helping clients to drive profitable growth with foresights; she is an expert in RGM (Revenue Growth Management). E-commerce insights and foresights with superior consultancy is a clear focus of her, Didem together with her teams was launching 7 years ago the NIQ E-commerce FMCG panel in Türkiye with the objective of providing the forward looking light to the industry. Didem is passionate to help clients in Türkiye and also across EEMEA with next generation of digital shelf analytics to accelerate their growth journey in E-Commerce with focus to sales excellence and ROAS, recently also Agentic Commerce.
