Özge Cirika joined GE as the Government Engagement Director in April 2021 and became the Country Executive for Turkey in February 2022.
Before joining GE, Ozge had worked as a Senior Commercial Specialist in the Foreign Commercial Service of US Embassy Ankara. Over the last 20 years, Ozge actively provided guidance to US companies to promote higher business volume in Turkey and helped increasing US exports to Turkey. She managed the multibillion-dollar advocacy portfolio of Commercial Service Turkiye as the advocacy coordinator and served as a professional analyst and advisor to the Minister Counselor in all matters relating to program implementation and development. Ozge played key roles in developing market entry and market expansion strategies with US companies and assisted US businesses identify local partners. In October 2019, Ozge received a bronze medal from US Department of Commerce for superior service. Earlier in her career Ozge also worked in Akbank as a specialist in Ankara. Özge is also on the board of the Association of Government Relations Executives.
Ozge holds a master’s degree in International Trade and Finance from Cankaya University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hacettepe University. She also has a certificate in International Oil and Gas Management from Thunderbird Executive Education.
