On May 2, 2010, the day Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 Bitcoins for two Papa John’s pizzas is considered Bitcoin Pizza Day. As part of the Papa John’s & Paribu cooperation, users with Bitcoin in their Paribu account benefited from the large pizza campaign between 20th-22nd of May. The campaign is valid for 1 thin-rimmed large pepperoni pizza for “come and buy” orders through Papa John’s website or from the branch. Between the dates of the campaign, 10,000 Large Pepperoni Pizzas were sold at Papa John’s branches.
