On October 16, 2024, Dow organized a coastal cleanup at İBB Şile Disability Camp as part of its global #PullingOurWeight campaign and commitment to inclusion and diversity. #PullingOurWeight promotes a circular ecosystem, a key component of Dow’s Sustainability Goals, by removing, transforming, and preventing waste in the environment. With 150 volunteers, including Dow employees and camp residents, the cleanup removed 300 kilograms of waste from Alacalı Beach. The collected waste was processed for recycling and reuse to support healthier coastal ecosystems. By combining sustainable practices with community outreach and inclusion, Dow aims to inspire broader environmental stewardship and transform waste into valuable resources.
