Duracell has officially opened the solar panel installation on the roof of its packaging and logistics center in Heist/Belgium, serving the Europe & Africa region, including Türkiye. The inauguration has been joined by MEP Johan Van Overtveldt, U.S. Ambassador Michael M. Adler and Mayor Jan Moons. The new solar panel installation is good for about 4,000 megawatt hours of green energy. This equals the annual energy consumption of more than one thousand families and makes Duracell one of the largest energy producers in the region.
