Duracell is presenting its low emissions journey in Europe: from North to South! The company have started using 100% electric trucks to transport batteries between its facilities in Belgium. These trucks are powered by the energy generated from 8,000 solar panels installed on their rooftops. Using train cargo from Dusseldorf in Germany all along the way to Milan in Italy, they are now able to cut out most of the emissions along that route. The company’s “Powering a Greener Future” strategy will continue to combine its power to do more with their goal of leaving a greener world for our children.
