Estée Lauder Companies’ Pink Ribbon Campaign Turns 32!

The Estée Lauder Companies marks the 32nd anniversary of the Pink Ribbon campaign, recognized as the global symbol of breast cancer awareness. Launched in 1992 by Evelyn Lauder and Alexandra Penney, the initiative has reached millions of people worldwide, emphasizing the importance of early detection and awareness. This year, the campaign aimed to foster awareness across generations.

Inspired by the unifying role of art, the campaign featured prominent figures from various professional and age groups. At the Pink Night event, held in collaboration with ALEM magazine, designer Tuvana Büyükçınar presented pieces inspired by the “Pink Ribbon” theme. Additionally, the PinkLine Support Line, a collaboration between the Estée Lauder Companies and the Pembe İzler Women’s Cancer Association, continues to provide psychological, nutritional, and beauty support to women undergoing cancer treatment. The project, which aims to help patients feel supported and empowered during their treatment, exceeded its 2024 target of 2,000 sessions.
