Having established ever first HIV Testing Awareness Week in Türkiye, Gilead launched the awareness campaign titled “Transforming Stigmas, Looking to the Future with Hope” this year. Supported by NGOs, healthcare professionals, and artists, this initiative aims to challenge societal misconceptions about HIV and raise awareness. The project featured powerful artworks by multidisciplinary artist Uğur Acil and graffiti artist Somon, symbolizing both the stigma and hope experienced by those living with HIV. The pieces were showcased at Bomontiada. The campaign highlights the critical importance of early diagnosis, access to treatment, and combating stigma to foster greater public understanding & support for affected individuals.
