Bringing together students from Darüşşafaka and Medtronic volunteers to ignite curiosity and inspire future careers in health technology. As part of Medtronic’s bold 10-year global initiative, Spark aims to empower 1 million students from low-income households worldwide through education, mentorship, and scholarships—helping close the health tech talent gap and create equitable opportunities. At the Türkiye event, 110 students from Darüşşafaka visited the Medtronic Innovation Center in Istanbul. Guided by 80 Medtronic employee volunteers, students engaged in hands-on activities featuring cutting-edge technologies such as surgical robotics and virtual reality. The experience was designed to spark curiosity and build essential skills like collaboration, creativity, and confidence, empowering students to envision themselves as future innovators.
