Honeywell collaborated closely with SOCAR to develop its five-year digitalization program with a focus on driving end-to-end optimization, asset reliability, autonomous operations, and workforce enablement. The program was designed to drive quick performance returns for SOCAR, which is anticipating a financial return on its digitalization investment within a 12-to-24-month timeframe. As part of this latest collaboration, Honeywell and SOCAR have also signed an agreement for the Honeywell Forge Sustainability⁺ for Industrials Emissions Management suite to be used at SOCAR’s Carbamide facility in Baku. The software-as-a-service solution will enable SOCAR to measure, monitor, report and reduce emissions to support decarbonization and other environmental objectives. automation has to help industrial companies meet their production and sustainability goals.”
Honeywell will deploy its suite of digital technologies at five SOCAR downstream facilities. The deployment will include Honeywell Forge Asset Performance Management (APM), which enhances equipment performance by monitoring and reducing unplanned maintenance, and Honeywell Alarm Management, which ensures process safety through centralized assessment and management of alarm systems.
