TBWA\Istanbul brought two prestigious awards — a Gold Lion and a Bronze Lion — to Turkey at Cannes Lions 2025 with the “Ghost Town” installation created for CarrefourSA.
Honored in Craft / Design and Outdoor / Special Build, the project carried the message “If fishing survives, Ocaklar survives”, powerfully illustrating how ghost nets threaten not only marine life but also the future of fishing villages. Born in Istanbul as a local call for awareness, “Ghost Town” has become a global statement of design’s power to confront reality.
