Gilead has launched a new initiative in collaboration with patient and physician associations fighting HIV, a public health issue, and its digital partner Albert Health, to address the infection through collective action and awareness. The digital application, named “Up for Life,” aims to enhance the quality of life for people living with or at risk of HIV and support long-term health management. People at risk of or living with HIV can download the Up for Life app for free from the App Store or Google Play. The app can be customized to meet specific needs, personalizing health management for every user. With the “Up for Life” app, developed as a closed platform for people living with or at risk of HIV, users can track medication, access a list of anonymous testing centers and on-call pharmacies, receive daily awareness notifications, and monitor health metrics such as blood tests, glucose, CD4, and CD8 levels.
