Born in Mugla, Türkiye, Özgür Günaydın studied Mechanical Engineering in Middle Eastern Technical University, has an Executive MBA degree from Sabanci University and attended Stanford University’s Leadership Academy. Günaydın’s career at Borusan Cat began as a Service Engineer in 1995. He acted as the Manager of Istanbul Region and managed the Company’s international expansion in the following 10 years period. He was responsible from the operations in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and Far East of Russia. Özgür Günaydın is the CEO of Borusan Cat since January 2017. He is a founding member of Caterpillar Digital Council, Caterpillar Dealer Advisory Group Member and a member of Caterpillar Mining Council.
