Turkish Students Attend Honeywell’s Space Camp Program in the U.S.

Honeywell hosted the 14th Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy (HLCA) this fall at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center® (USSRC) in Huntsville, Alabama, welcoming over 250 high school students from 20 U.S. states and 45 countries, including Türkiye. Held in two week-long sessions from October 20-25 and October 27-November 1, the program offers students a unique opportunity to explore STEM through immersive hands-on activities such as coding, computer science and astronautics designed to inspire future careers in these fields. Three Turkish students sponsored by Honeywell Türkiye, Kamola İbrahimoğlu, Mehmet Eren Sapmaz and Safiye Naz Yılmaz joined their peers from around the world in a transformative experience that included simulated space missions, astronaut training, coding workshops, and team-building activities aimed at developing critical leadership skills.
